COMBINE TOUR MOUNT ARARAT AND MOUNT KAZBEK TOUR 13 DAYS
Day 1: We meet van Airport and we pass directly Hotel Dogubayazit, overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2: Dogubayazit to Mount Ararat, transfer from hotel to cevır Village 2200 meters (with minibus), we to begin trekking till 1 camp 3200 meters (our Equipment will be come up to by pack animals). When we reach the camp we will drink tea and eat hot meal. Overnight at camp 1, 3200 m.
Day 3: Acclimatization day (lunch will be with us included) today we will make our acclimatization trek to the second camp (4200 m) and then return back to base camp 3200 m, overnight sleep tent.
Day 4: Mount Ararat Camp 4200 m, again climb to camp 4200 m, equipment will be come up to by pack animals. When we reach the camp we will have hot meal. Overnight at Camp 2. (We have to go to sleep very early)
Day 5: (breakfast lunch and will be whit us included) Summit day climbing very early in the night (1 or 2 am), after 5-7 hours we reach Mount Ararat summit at 5137 m. Afterwards we return to camp 2, we have a rest, eat meal and pack equipment and Then we back down to descent to cevır Village at 2200 m, where vehicles wait us. We back to Dogubayazit. Overnight Hotel.
Day 6: Transfer Dogubayazit to Georgia Valeh border at drive About 8 hour after then drive to Tbilisi at 5 hour stay in hotel.
Day 7: Breakfast at hotel then to drive to sephantsminda(kazbegi village)at about 4 hour, overnight Local house.
Day 8: Transfer to the highest operating ortodox church in the world – Tsminda Sameba 2170 m(with 4*4 Jeep), our long walking day to the Betlemi hut, crossing the Sabertse Pass we continue walk following the moraine ridge and Gergeti Glacier to mountain hut Betlemi (former meteorological station) at 3700 m, about 7-8 hrs, overnight hut or tent.
Day 9: Today we make to acclimatization hike to the glacier at 4400 m here the guide teach you how to walk in crampons a d how to use ice –axe, overnight at the tent or hut.
Day 10: Summit day, we start early in the morning and come back to the hut after 11 – 12 hours, overnight tent or hut.
Day 11: Descent to Kazbegi village, then drive to Tbilisi, overnight hotel.
Day 12: Full day Tbilisi sightseeing, overnight hotel.
Day 13: Transfer to the airport and end the program.
Note: Hotel check out will be in 12:30 pm.
