MOUNT ELBRUS FROM SOUTH TOUR 8 DAYS
Day 01: Arrival to Mineralnye Vody Airport, your guide is waiting for you to greet and welcome you, then drive to Azau village 3,0-3,5 hours, Located in the Baksan Valley at 7,500′ ft., Azau village(2300 m) is a small village full of skiers in the winter and a quiet center for climbers in the summer., O/N Hotel.
Day 02: Acclimatization hike up to slopes of the Mt Elbrus area at 3100 m, O/N Hotel.
Day 03: This is the day when you move to the mountain Hut at 3800m, you can leave all not necessary stuff at hotel, it will not be necessary to carry your backpacks self because the group will reach the Hut using ski lifts, there will be only a short distance to walk from the cable cars last station to the hut, O/N Mountain refuge at 3800 m.
Day 04: Acclimatization day, Hike up to the Pastuckhov rocks and probably higher (4800 m), O/N Mountain refuge at 4100 m.
Day 05: Summit day, wake up early in the morning at 2 am and have a good breakfast, check the weather forecast start climbing towards the peak at about 3 am, depending to your pace, physical ability and fitness, it would take about 9 to 10 hours to reach the summit, take some photos and after that it’s time to return, about 4 ~ 5 hours to descend to the Hut, O/N Mountain refuge at 4100 m.
Day 06: After breakfast back to Azau village, O/N Hotel.
Day 07 : Free Day for Bed wahter day
Day 08: Drive to Mineralnye Vody airport and end the program.
Note: Hotel check out will be in 13 pm.
