Overview: Join us for a 4-day trekking adventure to the summit of Mount Ararat. Experience the beauty of nature, the challenge of the climb, and the thrill of reaching the peak.
Day 1: Arrival and Initial Climb
Transfer from the airport to Ararat village or a hotel in Çevirme Village situated at an altitude of 2200 meters.
Begin your trek towards Camp 1, located at 3200 meters. The climb typically takes around 5 hours.
All equipment will be transported by pack animals.
Overnight stay at Camp 1.
Day 2: Acclimatization Day
Climb up to 4000 meters to acclimatize and then return to Camp 1.
Spend the night at Camp 1.
Day 3: Journey to Camp 2
Trek to Camp 2, which is located at 4200 meters.
Again, pack animals will transport all equipment.
Overnight stay at Camp 2. Note: It's essential to go to bed early in preparation for the summit climb.
Day 4: Summit Day
Begin the ascent to the summit early in the morning, typically around 1 or 2 a.m.
Reach the Mount Ararat summit, standing tall at 5137 meters, after approximately 5-7 hours of climbing.
After celebrating at the summit, return to Camp 2 for some rest and a meal.
Pack up and begin the descent to Çevirme Village at 2200 meters. Vehicles will be waiting to transport you back to Dogubayazit.
