Overview: Journey to the summit of Mount Kazbek, one of the highest and most picturesque peaks in the Caucasus. Located in the Kazbek Region, this mountain stands as a testament to the beauty and majesty of the East Caucasus.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
Meet at Tbilisi airport (please arrive before 12:00).
Group transfer to Stepantsminda (formerly known as Kazbegi), approximately 3-3.5 hours away.
Visit Tsminda Sameba, the world's highest operating Orthodox church.
Overnight stay in a guest house.
Day 2: Trek to High Camp
Hike to the high camp at 3680 meters (4-5 hours).
Return to Stepantsminda or opt for an overnight stay in tents at camp 3000 meters.
Day 3: Move to the Hut
Relocate to the mountain refuge at 3680 meters. Stay in the refuge or in double tents, depending on availability.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day
Hike to the glacier at 4400 meters for acclimatization.
Learn essential mountaineering skills, such as using crampons and ice-axes.
Overnight stay at the hut or in tents.
Day 5: Summit Day
Begin the ascent to the summit early in the morning.
Return to the hut after approximately 11-12 hours of trekking.
Overnight stay at the hut or in tents.
Day 6: Reserve Day
A backup day in case of unfavorable weather conditions on the previous day.

Day 7: Exploring Mtskheta
Visit the ancient town of Mtskheta, located just 4 km from Tbilisi.
Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 8: Departure
Fly out from Tbilisi.
