Day 1: We meet at Van Airport and proceed directly to our hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Van. Evening meal included.
Day 2: Today, we drive to visit the old castle and Akdamar Island on Van Lake, home to the 10th-century Armenian Church of the Holy Cross. After lunch, we move to the campsite at Mount Artos and sleep in tents at 2800 meters.
Day 3: Artos Summit: We start our trekking at 5 o'clock in the morning. It will take approximately 7-8 hours to reach the summit. Then, we return to the camp. Food transfer to the camp, Nemrut Lake. Sleeping in tents.
Day 4: We start trekking and climbing to the summit of Mount Nemrut (3510 meters), where we can enjoy the magnificent view of the Crater Lake and its surroundings. After a short photo-taking break, we will descend to our starting point where the minibus will be waiting for us. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Adilcevaz.
Day 5: Suphan Peak (4058 meters): After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the foot of Mount Suphan. We will trek to the summit of Mount Suphan, from where we will have a breathtaking view of Van Lake. The ascent and descent will take 8-9 hours. From the foot of Mount Suphan, we will drive to Dogubayazit. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Dogubayazit.
Day 6: From Dogubayazit to Ararat Camp 1: After breakfast at the hotel, we will pack our equipment and drive to Elli Village, near the foot of Mount Ararat. Porters will take our luggage, and we will start trekking to the base camp at 3200 meters. On the campsite, we will eat lunch, drink hot tea, and pitch our tents. Rest time and dinner. Overnight at Camp 1 (3200 meters).
Day 7: Ascent to Ararat Camp 2: We will eat breakfast at the camp, pack our equipment, and start trekking to Camp 2. Today, we will move our equipment by horses. We will stay at Camp 2 (4200 meters). Dinner and overnight at the campsite with a hot meal at night.
Day 8: Summit Ararat Day: After breakfast (lunch included), we start climbing very early at night (1 or 2 AM). We will have a 5-6 hour trek to reach the summit of Ararat at 5137 meters. Afterwards, we will return to Ararat Camp 2 (4200 meters). We will rest, eat a meal, pack our equipment, and then return to the car point at 2200 meters. We will drive back to Dogubayazit. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 9: Extra day, in case of bad weather. If we don’t use this day on the mountain, we will have a cultural tour in the Dogubayazit area. We will visit Ishak Pasha Palace (a 17th-century Ottoman palace located 7 km from Dogubayazit), Meteor Crater, and Durupinar Site, where, according to some scientists, Noah’s Ark's footprint is located. Overnight at a hotel in Dogubayazit.
Day 10: Transfer to the airport. In the morning, we will have breakfast at the hotel. Then, depending on your departure time, we will drop you at the airport in Van. End of the tour.
